Handheld Strapping Machine JP-13/16

Key Features

• 3-in-1 Automation: Fully automates the tensioning, welding, and cutting processes with a single-handed operation, significantly increasing packing speed.
• Seal-Free Friction Welding: Uses high-frequency friction heat to fuse straps together, creating a secure, beautiful joint without the cost or environmental impact of metal fasteners.
• Highly Portable Design: Cordless and lightweight (approx. 3 kg), allowing operators to work freely across large warehouses or outdoor loading docks.
• Adjustable Tension Force: Features a precision control system that allows for adjustable tensioning up to 2800N, ensuring the safety of both delicate and heavy-duty loads.
• High-Capacity Power: Equipped with a fast-charging lithium battery that can complete up to 200 strapping cycles on a single 90-minute charge.

Product Description & Specifications

The JP-13/16 Handheld Strapping Machine is a “green” powerhouse for modern packaging lines. Traditionally, heavy-duty strapping required steel bands, which are difficult to recycle and hazardous to handle. This machine enables a shift to high-strength Fiber strap, PET (Polyester), which offers steel-like strength with superior elongation recovery and full recyclability. Its ergonomic, balanced body reduces operator fatigue during high-volume shifts.

Green Comparison: JP-13/16 vs. Standard Manual Steel Strapping

To better understand the value of the JP-13/16, here is how it compares to the traditional “non-green” method of manual steel strapping commonly used in heavy industry.

The “Green” Advantage

The JP-13/16 doesn’t just improve your workflow; it eliminates the hidden environmental costs of traditional packaging. By switching from steel to Fiber straps, PET (Polyester) strapping, you reduce the total weight of your shipments (lowering transport emissions) and ensure that your packaging material can be processed by standard recycling facilities rather than ending up in a landfill.

Applications

The JP-13/16 is versatile enough for a wide range of industrial and commercial uses:

• Recycling & Waste Management: Ideal for baling waste paper, cardboard, and plastic scrap for transport.
• Construction Materials: Securely straps bricks, timber, aluminum ingots, and steel pipes.
• Logistics & Export: Provides a tamper-evident, high-tension seal for palletized goods during international shipping.
• Heavy Manufacturing: Used in the chemical, textile, and metal industries for bundling bulky raw materials.

What to Consider When Choosing This Machine

1. Strap Material: Ensure you are using high-quality PET or PP straps. The JP-13/16 relies on the friction between these materials to create a weld; it is not compatible with steel or fiber cord straps that require metal buckles.
2. Load Characteristics: For very heavy, non-compressible loads, ensure the 2800N maximum tension meets your safety requirements.
3. Operation Volume: This machine is a semi-automatic handheld tool. For lines requiring more than 15 straps per minute, a fully automatic arch machine may be more efficient.
4. Work Environment: Since it is battery-operated, it is excellent for mobile environments, but consider having a spare battery for 24/7 continuous operations.
