Moulded Paper Pulp Packaging | JIT-MPP Series

Key Features

• 100% Circular Lifecycle: Made entirely from post-consumer recycled paper and natural fibers; fully biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable within existing paper streams.
• Precision Engineering: Custom-moulded to the exact geometry of your product, providing a “locking” fit that prevents movement and damage during transit
• High-Impact Cushioning: The fibrous structure naturally absorbs vibration and dissipates kinetic energy, offering protection comparable to plastic foams without the environmental cost.
• Space-Efficient Design: All pulp products are highly nestable, reducing warehouse storage requirements and inbound shipping costs by up to 70%.
• Stat-Free Protection: Naturally anti-static by design, making it the ideal protective medium for sensitive electronic components and high-end hardware.

Product Description & Specifications

Our Moulded Pulp solutions are created through a sophisticated vacuum-forming process using a slurry of recycled paper and water. The result is a rigid, yet breathable material that can be engineered into complex 3D shapes. From simple egg trays to intricate industrial buffers, this material is the ultimate “Green” alternative for internal packaging.

Green Comparison: JIT-MPP Series vs. Expanded Polystyrene (EPS/Styrofoam)

While Styrofoam has been the industry standard for decades due to its low weight, the JIT-MPP Series provides the same level of protection without the multi-century environmental “hangover.”

The “Green” Advantage

The JIT-MPP Series creates a “closed-loop” packaging experience. By using pre-existing waste (like old newspapers and cardboard) to protect new products, you are significantly lowering the embodied energy of your packaging. Unlike plastic foams, which are notorious for blowing out of landfills and polluting oceans, moulded pulp is “of the earth”—it returns to the soil as organic matter. Furthermore, the ability to nest these inserts means you can fit three to four times more units on a single inbound pallet, drastically reducing the carbon emissions associated with your own supply chain logistics.

Applications

The versatility of moulded pulp allows it to serve almost every industrial sector:

• Electronics & Appliances: Protective end-caps for monitors, laptops, and household hardware.
• Medical & Healthcare: Single-use disposable trays, kidney dishes, and laboratory organizers.
• Food & Beverage: Drink carriers, wine shippers, egg cartons, and fruit trays
• Industrial Parts: Heavy-duty buffers for automotive parts, plumbing fixtures, and tools
• Cosmetics & Luxury: Premium smooth-surface inserts for sustainable brand presentation.

What to Consider When Choosing Moulded Pulp

1. Tooling Investment: Unlike cardboard boxes, moulded pulp requires a custom metal mold. This makes it most cost-effective for medium-to-high volume production runs.
2. Moisture Exposure: While pulp is naturally breathable, if your product will be exposed to liquid, we can apply food-grade water-resistant coatings.
3. Surface Sensitivity: For products with highly polished surfaces (like mirrors or high-gloss plastic), we recommend our “Fine-moulded” smooth finish to prevent micro-scratches.
4. Weight of Product: Pulp is exceptionally strong in compression. We can adjust the thickness and rib-structure to support items ranging from light electronics to heavy mechanical parts.
