This Privacy Policy explains how SMT Mall (smt-mall.com), operated by JIT Industrial Viet Nam Co., Ltd (Công ty TNHH Công nghiệp JIT Việt Nam), a member of JIT Industrial Asia (“SMT Mall”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit our website, create an account, request a quote or place an order. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Vietnamese law on personal data protection and, where relevant, the laws of the countries in which our customers are located.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), phone number, company name.
  • Google Sign-In data: if you choose “Sign in with Google”, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google data.
  • Order and delivery data: billing and shipping addresses, phone number, products ordered, order history, delivery tracking information.
  • VAT invoice data: company name, tax code, invoice address and invoice email, if you request a VAT invoice.
  • Quote and contact requests: information you submit through our Request a Quote and contact forms.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by our payment partners (PayPal and Vietnamese banks via VietQR). We receive the payment status and transaction reference only. We do not store your card number or online banking credentials.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and cookies (see Section 6).

2. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account and let you sign in, including with Google.
  • To process quotes and orders, arrange delivery, confirm payments and provide after-sales and warranty support.
  • To issue VAT invoices and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
  • To contact you about your orders, quotes and support requests.
  • To send marketing information about products and promotions, only where you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and improve our services.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who help us run our service, and only as much as they need:

  • Shipping carriers (e.g. Viettel Post) – your name, phone number and delivery address, to deliver your order.
  • Payment providers (PayPal; Vietnamese banks and SePay for VietQR payment confirmation) – to process and confirm payments.
  • Google – for Google Sign-In, Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center.
  • Hosting, security and email providers – to operate and protect the website.
  • Suppliers and sellers on SMT Mall – the details needed to fulfil your quote or order with them.
  • JIT Industrial Asia group companies – where needed to serve customers in other countries.
  • Authorities – when required by law.

4. Google user data

SMT Mall’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email address and profile picture only to create and sign in to your SMT Mall account. We do not use this data for advertising and do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can remove SMT Mall’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account data while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Vietnamese accounting and tax law. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and preferred country or currency, and measure website traffic (Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features, such as the cart and sign-in, may then not work.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, security monitoring and regular backups to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where required by law.

8. Your rights

You may request to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, object to or restrict processing, or receive a copy of your data. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by law.

9. Children

SMT Mall is a business-to-business marketplace and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
